The sun was shining brightly when Bun arrived at the beach. He felt the warm sand under his paws and ran towards the water. Bun splashed around in the waves and barked with joy.
Bun noticed a group of colorful seashells scattered along the shore. He sniffed each one, his nose twitching with curiosity. Bun picked up a particularly shiny shell and carried it in his mouth as he explored further down the beach.
As Bun was exploring, he found a bottle buried in the sand. The bottle was old and had something inside. Bun carefully pushed the bottle with his nose until the cork popped off. Inside was a small, rolled-up piece of paper. Bun used his paws to gently unroll the paper, revealing a map with strange symbols and drawings.
Bun tilted his head and studied the map closely. The map showed a drawing of the beach with a big X marking a spot near some rocks. Bun looked around and saw the rocks in the distance.
Excited, Bun ran towards the rocks, stopping now and then to check the map. When he reached the spot marked with the X, Bun began to dig in the sand. Suddenly, his paw hit something hard. It was a small wooden box. Inside the box was a shiny golden locket. Bun nudged the locket open with his nose and found a tiny picture of the famous Admiral Pugwash, a legendary pug from Pugwash, Nova Scotia, who was famous for sailing the seven seas.
After a long day, Bun was tired but happy. He lay down on the sand, the locket safely by his side, and looked at the waves. Today was the best day ever!
